Alsbridge, Avasant, Elix-IRR, KPMG and Source are, according to the jury of the National Outsourcing Association, the best outsourcing consultants in the UK market. The overall winners of the 'Advisory of the Year’ award will be announced on the 20th of November.

Every year the National Outsourcing Association (NOA) organises the 'National Outsourcing Awards', a competition that recognises best practises in outsourcing. During the awards ceremony, which is held on the 20th of November 2014 at the Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square in London, winners will be announced in 18 categories.

In the category ‘Advisory of the Year’, 5 consulting firms have been nominated. An overview:

Alsbridge is an international consulting firm established through the merger between UK consulting firm ALS Consulting and US consulting firm Trowbridge in 2005. Alsbridge is specialised in outsourcing, offshoring and shared services and has offices in the US, UK and Germany.

Avasant is a global management consulting firm specialised in strategic sourcing, IT and business transformation. The firm, originally founded as Stradling Global Sourcing yet rebranded in 2006, has offices in the US, UK, Ghana, India, China and Japan.

Elix-IRR is an in 2009 founded consulting firm specialised in strategy, transformation, change and execution. The consulting firm has offices in the UK, Saudi Arabia and South Africa.

KPMG is one of the largest professional services of the globe, providing audit, tax and advisory services. Globally KPMG has nearly 160,000 employees, active in 155 countries. In the field of sourcing the Big 4 firm enjoys a strong reputation, partly built on its acquisition of EquaTerra in 2011.

Source is a consulting firm that specialises in sourcing advisory, provider services and sourcing assurance. The consulting firm is based in Oxford, UK.

In addition to the 5 consulting firms, two law firms have been nominated for the 'Outsourcing Advisory of the Year' award: Herbert Smith Freehills, and Slaughter and May.

The UK is home to 100+ leading consulting firms. New analysis reveals the 10 consulting companies that rank as the best industry employers to work for. 

The list of top consultancy employers is based on the views and opinions of employees who were surveyed by The Sunday Times about their experience of their firm’s leadership, workplace environment, development opportunities, wellbeing, pay, benefits and commitment to social responsibility. In the large consulting firms category, two of the Big Four – EY and Deloitte – and Accenture stand out from the rest. Seven other consultancies made the prestigious cut, all of which are small to mid-sized players in the consulting industry.
