In September 1996, he moved to counterpart Accenture, where he was spent nearly 10 years. His focus mainly was on clients in the financial services industry, supporting them with strategy, business process re-engineering, operating model design and business transformation. Between 2006 and 2010, he worked for Barclays, first as CIO, then as COO and Commercial Director. At the global bank, his focus spanned topics such as IT service delivery, transformation, management as well as regulatory compliance, outsourcing and governance. Over the past years, Rose worked as a strategic advisor and founded and headed up two technology start-ups.

Rose has now decided to return to the consulting industry, and joins Capco, where leads the creation and delivery of new business propositions across the Banking sector. His primary focus is on new bank build-outs, digital transformation and industry-wide ‘utility’ offerings. According to Steve Vinnicombe, CEO of Capco UK, the appointment of Rose marks an important addition to Capco’s banking practice. “Jonathan brings deep understanding of the financial services market with significant experience across high-level consulting and management roles. This, alongside the passion and energy he brings to Capco is an ideal blend which will help us drive the banking team forward.”

“The consulting power and entrepreneurial flair of Capco, combined with the market leading financial services technologies and global scale of its parent company, FIS*, are extremely impressive. This compelling combination supported by deeply capable and ambitious employees is what drew me to the company,” explains Rose. “I am excited to take on this new challenge at a time when banks are fighting to regain consumer trust and position themselves for future growth. As a specialist consultancy we have significant industry expertise to help organisations transform or build new operations to meet these challenges.”

Earlier this year Capco also bolstered its UK partner team with Paul Trotter and James Arnett.

* FIS acquired Capco in 2010 for €211 million. Recently FIS also purchased Clear2Pay, a payments technology specialist, for a reported fee of €375 million.
