Steve Vinnicombe new Managing Director Capco in UK
Capco has appointed Steve Vinnicombe as the new CEO of its UK business. He replaces Andrew Tarver, who led the firm for the past four years.
In april 2010 Capco named Andrew Tarver as the new Managing Director of the English business unit. Prior to Capco he had worked for years at competitor Accenture, where he in his last role was a Partner in the firm's Capital Markets practice. Four years later Tarver has decided to leave the financial services specialist in order to focus on BOLDROCKET, a startup he recently set up. Steve Vinnicombe, who has been at Capco since the second-half of 2010, has been appointed as the new Country Managing Director.
Steve Vinnicombe has more than 15 years of experience in the consulting industry. After graduating he started his career at Accenture, where he spent 11 years. From Senior Manager onwards he specialized in banking and financial markets, in his last role he was a Senior Executive in the Capital Markets unit.
"I am proud to be taking on this role and building on the success that Andrew has achieved. Capco's UK business is evolving and has enjoyed double-digit growth for the past three years, consistently outperforming the consulting industry averages. A priority will be to continue to make Capco a great place to work, sustaining the culture that has won us a place on The Sunday Times '100 Best Companies to Work For' list for the past three years" says Vinnicombe.
Peter Schurau, Capco's European CEO, adds, "Steve's wealth of experience and knowledge made him the obvious choice for the role. Having been a Partner since 2010, he has been an exemplary leader in the UK. He has spearheaded some of the region's most complex projects and built significant and strategic senior client relationships. As Capco continues to expand, I will look to Steve and the UK team to provide support to other areas of growth such as our Asia-Pacific business."
