Capco appoints Daniel Meere as Leader of Banking & Payments practice

Global management and technology consultancy Capco has appointed Daniel Meere as the new Lead of its Banking & Payments practice in the UK market.

Based in London, Daniel Meere has over 25 years of experience in financial services, most of which he gained in the consulting industry. He joins Capco from scale-up consulting firm Colehouse Group where he was Chief Growth Officer. He previously led Cognizant’s Banking and Financial Services consulting business across the UK & Ireland, Europe & Nordics, ASEAN and Australia & New Zealand regions.

Meere has also held leadership positions at Spanish management and technology business consulting firm Axis Corporate (acquired by Accenture), global information technology & services company CSC and PA Consulting, where he oversaw the Banking, Wealth and Private Equity practice.

Outside of consulting, Meere worked at Barclays, where he co-led the Industrial Engineering Unit, focused on group-wide operational efficiency.

In his new role, he will lead Capco’s client work in the Banking sector, which supports many of the world’s largest investment, retail and commercial banks, as well as regional/local banks, digital challengers, fintechs, payment providers and sector-adjacent institutions. Capco’s services in the vertical sit at the intersection of business consulting, regulatory, technology delivery, and data and analytics.
