Paul Trotter and James Arnett appointed partner at Capco
Global consulting firm Capco has announced two new partners promotions in the UK: Paul Trotter and James Arnett.
Paul Trotter has more than 15 years of experience in the consulting industry. He started his career at Accenture, where he spent roughly 13 years – in his last role as Director.
He joined Capco in 2011 as a Managing Principal and has since gained extensive experience in the delivery of complex sourcing projects for large insurance and banking organisations. Most recently Trotter led a service transformation and integration programme for the retail banking technology unit of a global tier one bank, bringing a standardised and consistent approach to all projects, based on industry best practice.
After graduating in 1999 from the University of Manchester, James Arnett worked in several roles in the IT and consulting industry. Before joining Capco in 2011, he spent more than a decade at IBM, Capita, HP and a financial services institution.
Over the past years Arnett gained expertise within the arena of complex business and technology transformation, specialising in mobilising and leading large change programmes across capital markets and banking, specifically in the area of regulatory remediation. Examples of projects he worked on include delivering regulatory change across tier one investment banks, implementing strategic transformation programmes and optimising offshore delivery.
Steve Vinnicombe, CEO of Capco in the UK: “Both Paul and James have extensive practical experience of the strategic and operational challenges that are reshaping financial services and in delivering solutions that make a real difference to our clients. Adding Paul and James to our partner team is testimony to the great work they are delivering and the importance we place on industry experts with a deep understanding of financial services.”
