Quantuma welcomes Sam Gaunt to Restructuring & Insolvency practice

International advisory firm Quantuma has appointed Sam Gaunt as a London-based managing director in its Restructuring & Insolvency practice.

Sam Gaunt brings over 20 years of experience in mid-market and large complex restructurings across multiple sectors. An insolvency practitioner, she specialises in advising both lenders and corporates in times of distress.

Gaunt joins Quantuma from Interpath, where she spent four years as a Director. Prior to that, she spent over two decades at KPMG across two spells, including serving as a Director in its UK business and a six-year spell in its Irish business. In between, she also worked for EY.

On her appointment, Gaunt said: “I am excited to be joining Quantuma and look forward to working with such a dynamic team. I welcome the opportunity to contribute to the firm’s ambitious growth plans, including increasing our capabilities in the London region. I am eager to begin working together with all of my new colleagues in the Restructuring & Insolvency team.”

Gaunt’s arrival at Quantuma follows the recent appointments of Tom Parish and Hannah Griffin in January of this year and Tracey Pye last Autumn, all of whom joined the firm as managing directors.
