Quantuma promotes Richard Easterby to managing director
Business advisory firm Quantuma has promoted restructuring specialist Richard Easterby to managing director. Easterby is head of the firm’s fast-growing Birmingham office.
Richard Easterby, Quantuma managing director, responded, "I am really excited about this new role and opportunity. I am particularly looking forward to driving the continued growth of our Birmingham office, expanding our market presence, and helping our talented team to thrive in this dynamic region."
Easterby brings 20 years of experience to the role, specialising in advising company directors, secured lenders and other key stakeholders across a variety of distressed situations. He has worked on a wide range of corporate insolvency assignments of both a transactional and complex nature.
Joining Quantuma in 2014 he had both prior experience from an international consultancy, and a boutique insolvency firm. His past projects include the administration of a substantial construction business, the trading and lease assignment of a London nightclub, the pre-packaged administration sale of a restaurant chain, the liquidation of wine investment companies and the administration of a football club.
Quantuma’s UK restructuring and insolvency lead Chris Newell commented, “This promotion is thoroughly deserved, as a result of all the hard work, technical ability and ambition that Richard has shown. Richard has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership and a deep understanding of the market. I am excited to see Richard step into his new role and look forward to seeing what he can achieve. I feel confident that he will continue to deliver outstanding results for our business clients as we continue on our ambitious growth trajectory.”
Quantuma has a fast-growing Midlands presence with Richard Easterby and corporate finance expert Scott Peters being joined by senior new colleagues last year, including restructuring specialist and managing director Chris Lewis, as well as forensic accounting expert and managing director, Hannah Griffin.
