Humatica bags trio of awards in private equity sector
International consulting firm Humatica has bagged a run of successive awards in the private equity sector, solidifying its presence as a leading organisational effectiveness consultant to funds and their portfolio companies.
Established two decades ago, Humatica helps private equity companies with improving the efficiency and effectiveness of organisations by addressing levers including leadership, structures, management processes, culture and people. The firm advises both during the dealmaking process, as well as in the post-closing value creation phase.
In March this year, Humatica announced that the firm had made the final of two of the private equity sector’s most established awards programmes – the Private Equity Awards by RealDeals, and the Private Equity Value Creation Awards by Actum Group.
RealDeals is a platform dedicated to the private equity sector. The company’s awards programme every year recognise the very best private equity transactions, the most successful firms, and the most accomplished advisors.
Shortlisted in the Specialist Adviser of the Year category, Humatica faced stiff competition from seven other finalists, including Acuity Knowledge Partners, Alvarez & Marsal, Confidas People, and Palladium Digital.
Humatica ultimately took the top prize, largely in recognition of its track record (the firm has worked with hundreds of buy-outs in Europe, North America and Asia over the past 20 years) and innovative suite of tools and methodologies that enable financial sponsors to deliver on their ambitious value creation plans.
In particular, the jury of RealDeals recognised the application of the firm’s methods to facilitate the implementation of low-risk buy-and-build strategies.
Commenting on the win, Andros Payne, Founder and Managing Partner of Humatica, said: “We are thrilled to be selected as RealDeals 2023 Specialist Advisor of the Year. This is the most prestigious private equity advisory award in Europe. Our selection confirms a recognition of our unique data-driven approach to measuring the quality of behaviors and management processes that drive value creation and which we pioneered.”
The recognition came hot on the heels of Humatica being named Value Creation Consultancy of the Year for People & Organisational Strategy, at Actum Group’s awards dinner held in London Mayfair mid-March.
Shortlisted alongside Korn Ferry, Boston Consulting Group, and AlixPartners, Humatica was lauded for the work it has undertaken across portfolio companies covering people and organisational strategy initiatives.
Payne: “After 20 years of dedicated focus on improving the organisational effectiveness of private equity portfolio companies, Actum Group’s award is a confirmation of our leadership in this space. Our data-driven tools and products enable operating partners, deal-teams and portfolio company leaders to align their organisations for success. Humatica’s productivity enhancement tools are setting the standard for improving efficiency and effectiveness.”
Topping off its trio of awards in just as many months, Humatica was most recently named one of the UK’s Top Private Equity Consulting Firms by industry publication Consultancy.org.
Outside of the United Kingdom, Humatica also has offices in Zurich, Munich and Singapore.
