Humatica expands into France with new office
UK-headquartered consultancy Humatica has announced the launch of a new office in Paris. The locale is the firm’s fifth globally, and sees it expand into France.
Andros Payne, managing partner of Humatica, commented, “As one of the most active private equity markets in Europe, France has been an important market for Humatica over many years. It demands a local presence to serve properly. We are therefore thrilled to make a long-term commitment to our French clients with the establishment of a Paris office.”
Europe’s largest national consulting markets are the UK, followed by Germany and France. Humatica’s roll-out in Paris means the firm has a physical presence in all three – with its headquarters in London, and an office in Munich already open. The firm also has outposts in Zurich and Singapore.
Founded in 2003, Humatica specialises in helping financial sponsors with organisational due diligence in the deal phase, and in the post-deal phase with value creation and embedding change. It has been active in France since 2005, and has supported investors and local portfolio company executive teams there from its Zurich and London wings. However, a permanent presence in Paris promises to better serve national and international fund clients in the important French market – as well as offering inroads into neighbouring Belgium.
The new presence will be helmed by Jan Löning, a partner who has worked with Humatica for a decade. Since joining the firm in 2014, he has been collaborating with the firm on a diverse number of client projects.
Löning has held transformational leadership roles over the last 20 years with renowned firms in France including Oscaro, Fnac and Europcar. Following an initial career in international consulting with Oliver Wyman, he also held senior executive positions in Germany, the US and France.
His appointment as the firm’s managing partner in France will enhance local delivery of Humatica’s unique services in French-speaking markets.
Speaking on the news, Löning added, “I am pleased to build on Humatica’s nearly 20-year track record of serving French clients by leading the development of our team and service offer in France. I have known Humatica very early on and am impressed by the development of its capabilities, and its strong and clear focus on the PE environment.”
