Logistics consultancy Squarcle gains backing from Phoenix Equity Partners
UK supply chain consultancy Squarcle has taken on new investment from Phoenix Equity Partners. The move will back Squarcle as it looks to expand across Europe, amid a time of rising demand for procurement advisory services.
Geopolitical turmoil has been the running theme of 2026 – if it wasn’t already in the years before. As the Strait of Hormuz closes once again, and new conflicts open up around the world, supply chain and procurement plans for international companies of all shapes and sizes must adapt continuously.

Founded by Gavin Emmerson MBE and Simon Perks in 2020, and joined by Nigel Allison in 2022, Squarcle has expanded rapidly since its inception, supported by strong margins, recurring activity and an impressive list of multi-year customer relationships. And now, it has welcomed new backing from Phoenix Equity Partners, as it looks to scale this success.

New investment
Phoenix Equity Partners is a UK private equity firm specialising in working alongside founder-entrepreneurs. The transaction marks the twelfth investment from Phoenix’s current flagship fund and builds on the firm’s decades of experience in the specialist consulting, supply chain and logistics, and defence sectors, as illustrated by its successful investments in AVA and Logiq.
Phoenix’s partnership with Squarcle will help the firm deepen its talent base, scale its technology offering, and extend its reach across UK defence and wider public sector, international markets and adjacent regulated sectors; all while preserving the excellent culture and high standards of delivery that have underpinned Squarcle’s success to date.
