Moorhouse promotes Richard Brackstone to Partner
Richard Brackstone, Client Director for Technology, Media and Telecommunications, has been promoted to Partner at Moorhouse Consulting. A former Accenture Senior Manager, Brackstone joined Moorhouse seven years ago and leads the firm’s Technology, Media & Telecommunications and Financial Services industries lines.
Established in 2004, Moorhouse is a transformation consultancy which works to deliver complex transformational projects. Since its purchase by Software Quality Systems in 2018, the firm has been looking to ramp up its operations in the UK. Last year, this saw the promotion of 13 professionals across its British wing.
Now, Moorhouse has continued to boost its senior ranks with the promotion of Richard Brackstone to Partner. He has spent the last seven years with Moorhouse, having joined in mid-2012, and became a Client Director in 2013.
During Moorhouse's ownership by BT, Brackstone led the work with BT. Post-divestment, he, Dom Tritton and others went on to build the Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) sector at Moorhouse. He has since taken leadership for this sector, as well as taking over the leadership of the internal Business Development (BD) team at Moorhouse in 2019. He has worked with clients such as Sky, Virgin Media, Telefonica UK, Openreach, EE, MBNL, Civica.
Prior to life at Moorhouse, Brackstone spent three years with Accenture, where he was latterly a Senior Manager. He also held senior roles with the DWP, DEFRA and Lloyds Banking Group on an interim basis between 2002 and 2012. Outside of work, he also boasts the notable achievement of having managed to gain an international rugby cap for Togo.
Brackstone was congratulated by a number of his colleagues on Moorhouse’s LinkedIn profile. Business Leadership and Transformation, Partner Jason Byrne praised the “fantastic achievement,” and noted he was “delighted to work with [Brackstone] through this next season.” Senior Consultant Joshua Gavzey also noted he was “looking forward to working with [Brackstone] more” as a result of the promotion.
