Menzies celebrates B Corp certification
As Menzies looks to advance its sustainability, inclusion and purpose efforts, it has gained B Corp certification. The news sees it become one of only three dozen counterparts to receive B Corp recognition.
Certified B Corporations, or B Corps, are companies verified to meet the standards of non-profit B Lab’s standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. The B Corp community in the UK is the fastest-growing in the world, with more than 2,600 companies spanning a range of different industries and sizes, including Innocent Drinks, Patagonia, Finisterre, Elemis, and Sipsmith Gin.
However, even as a number of professional services firms look to join the collective – including Enfuse Group, BIP, OC&C Strategy Consultants, and Campbell Tickell in recent years – the accounting sector continues to lag in uptake. In the UK, fewer than 40 firms in the sector have become B Corps.
The newest of these is Menzies. Founded in 1912, Menzies is headquartered in London with coverage nationally, and a turnover of £110 million. With more than 1,100 advisors in audit, tax and advisory services, the company is stationed across 11 locations UK wide.

The certification reflects Menzies’ long-standing commitment to ESG and sustainability services. This includes the growth of its specialist advisory team to support organisations with ESG strategy, reporting, carbon reduction planning, and B Corp certification readiness.
