Conor Curtis joins Leonard Curtis as advisory analyst

Leonard Curtis has hired Conor Jones as an advisory analyst in its growing funding team. Speaking on the arrival, team leader Becky Owen noted that his “insight will be invaluable” as the firm looks to help clients “navigate complex financial situations, structuring the right funding solution to meet their needs.”

The firm’s head of funding went on, “Conor’s blend of commercial accountancy experience and first-hand HMRC insight gives him a unique perspective on the challenges our clients face.”

The Leonard Curtis funding team has seen significant growth during the last twelve months, with 30 specialists working across the UK. Acting as trusted advisor to SMEs, the team utilises its expertise to deliver bespoke solutions for businesses across a range of sectors.

Jones brings more than three years of experience within the accountancy sector following roles with fast-growing practices Mitchell Charlesworth and BWM. Prior to this, he spent two years with HMRC, working across multiple departments and gaining valuable insight into processes, compliance requirements and expectations.

In his new role, Conor will provide cashflow analysis, funding advice and tailored solutions for HMRC debts, drawing on his detailed understanding of how HMRC operates.

Leonard Curtis’ offering has been expanding rapidly throughout 2025. Earlier in the year, the firm launched a new dedicated M&A wing, while in December it announced it was opening its 30th UK office, in the Thames Valley.
