The Construction Consultancy brings in Ian Strachan Communications for press relations role

As it bids to win more work in the UK’s growing construction market, The Construction Consultancy has partnered with Ian Strachan Communications. The move will see Ian Strachan Communications manage press relations for the firm, and work with its existing marketing agency.

Launched in 2017, The Construction Consultants specialises in a wide range of disciplines, spanning project management, employer’s agent, quantity surveying, fund monitoring and CDM consultancy. As consulting firms in the sector look to bolster their offerings, ahead of spiking demand, many are onboarding key talent. However, as the Midlands-based firm looks to win new work, it has also announced a new communications strategy.

Looking ahead, the Lichfield-based company Ian Strachan Communications will handle The Construction Consultancy’s press relations. The firm will now provide PR and ongoing press relations support to the consultancy, which is headquartered in based in Bennett's Hill, Birmingham.

The Construction Consultancy co-founder and director Sandeep Singh Sunner said, “This is a really exciting time for us. Ian Strachan Communications was set up 25 years ago by Ian Strachan, formerly corporate affairs director at commercial vehicle manufacturer LDV and corporate communications director at Rover Group. The firm will also work alongside The Construction Consultancy's marketing agency, BlocMarket.
