Allan Davies and Clint Howell join The Construction Consultants

Birmingham-based advisory firm The Construction Consultants has made two new senior appointments. Allan Davies and Clint Howell join the fast-growing firm as it looks to support the delivery of projects for its expanding client base.

In June, the Government published its response to a consultation on Proposals for Heat Network Zoning –  the proposed legislation from the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) stating the need to change the way that energy systems are developed for new and existing properties.

This alone could open up a possible £80 billion in opportunities for the construction consulting market over the next 15 years, and as the built environment works to decarbonise more broadly, other chances to win work will surely raise that figure further.

As consulting firms in the sector look to bolster their offerings, ahead of spiking demand, many are onboarding key talent. This has seen The Construction Consultants expand its team at its headquarters in Cannon Street, Birmingham.

Allan Davies is a construction industry professional with more than 20 years of experience. In that time he has held senior roles with international property and construction consultancy, McBains, and established a track record of securing new business from a diverse range of clients. Looking ahead, as a Director for The Construction Consultants, he will take responsibility for driving the firm’s new business growth.

Clint Howell meanwhile arrives as a Senior Building Surveyor, bolstering the consultancy’s capability to develop long-term relationships with new and existing clients. His joining ends an eight-month search for a candidate to join The Construction Consultants’ building surveying department. As an RICS award-winning chartered building surveyor, he has previously worked for AECOM, RPS and Six Property Consulting.
