Two partner promotions have been announced by CIL Management Consultants. Luke Rowell and Anthony Crutchett have both been with the firm for more than a decade.

Commenting on the promotions, Jon Whiteman, managing partner at CIL Management Consultants, said, “The two senior promotions announced today are highly deserved. Their advancements highlight the deep expertise Luke and Anthony have developed and their ability to grow practice areas and the client base.  They have also shown great commitment to supporting the business internally and its talent.”

CIL has provided strategy consulting, value creation and due diligence support to management teams and investors since 1986. As a dedicated growth strategy firm with offices in the US and Europe, it provides clients with extensive knowledge in a range of niche sectors, while building strong client relationships to generate tailored insights.

Anthony Crutchett joined the firm in 2012, and has since worked across its IT services and software wing. He has a particular focus on enterprise software and construction technology, the latter sub-sector including work with Causeway, Intact, IES and Eque2. Crutchett has also been instrumental in building CIL’s internal learning and development curriculum and operations.

He stated, “I am excited to join the senior team at CIL and help lead the growth of the technology practice.  My focus is to continue to grow our European Technology practice, with particular emphasis on building our profile and areas of excellence in the UK, and increasing our coverage and experience across France, Germany, Benelux and The Nordics. I will also support the team in continuing to deliver both commercial due diligence and value creation to our clients regardless of their phase in the investment cycle.”

Luke Rowell meanwhile has been at CIL since 2013. In those years, he has established himself as a key player in the company’s media practice, covering a range of end-markets, including business information and data, media technology and services, and marketing services. He has deep expertise across the marketing services and technology ecosystem, working with both investors and corporates on a mix of transactions and strategic engagements working with businesses such as Brainlabs, Unlimited, Croud, Factor11, Venatus and LoopMe.

Rowell added, “It is an exciting period of growth at CIL and, as a Partner, my focus will be on continuing to provide support to our European corporate and investor clients, while deepening our US relationships. Furthermore, I’m keen to continue to build our value creation practice, offering go to market and growth strategy advice to media businesses globally.”

Both Crutchett and Rowell have been promoted from director to partner positions.
