Amey launches leadership development scheme in UK

Engineering consulting firm Amey has rolled out a new scheme to support aspiring business leaders gain the necessary skills. The firm’s leadership development programme will supply a two-year training regime to help individuals hone their management credentials.

Looking ahead, the two-year programme within Amey’s consulting business will provide structured development, dedicated support and mentoring as well as masterclasses from industry leading delivery providers. On completion of the programme individuals will receive a level 5 operations departmental manager apprenticeship qualification, and the opportunity to gain management chartership through the Chartered Management Institute.

Working alongside professional leadership organisations, Train2Train, Cranfield University and People Create, the tailored programme is designed to support all levels within the business; those with no leadership experience who wish to progress into a management role, those with management experience looking to advance into a senior role and those with 3-5 years of leadership experience looking to advance their career into a director position.
