Skarbek launches new innovation fitness index
Innovation is a key driver of growth for leading organisations, but the way to leverage it for different organisations requires detailed thought and planning. To help its clients on the path to successful innovation, Skarbek Associates has launched a new tool to holistically determine the factors driving or inhibiting innovation at any firm.
Speaking on the new Innovation Fitness Index, Tanguy Pellen, a partner at Skarbek Associates, commented, “The Innovation Fitness Index was born out of deep insights we gathered from Innovation leaders we work with at leading Pharma, Consumer-Healthcare and FMCG companies, and from the hands-on experience we hold as Innovation experts having practiced at high levels in the industry. They shared with us the struggle they face in understanding and addressing all the factors that affect their organisations’ ability to deliver the growth that their companies need. Winning consistently is hard and failure has a high cost! We wanted to help them.”
According to Pellen, up until now, no tool existed to both help innovation leaders understand all the factors that impact the potency of their innovation operational model; and to get a holistic picture of how effective they are doing across these factors. The Innovation Fitness Index in contrast has been built in collaboration with innovation leaders, “for innovation leaders looking to up their game and getting in their best shape ever”.
A release from Skarbek further elaborates that the Innovation Fitness Index is “a diagnostic tool that explores, measures and benchmarks organisational strengths and weaknesses across a unique set of domains and attributes”, which the firm’s experts have identified as the key contributors to an innovation organisation’s impact. This sees each client evaluated through 39 core attributes, which affect the innovation fitness for growth within an organisation, identifying performance gaps and other areas for improvement in the process. Meanwhile, outcomes and recommendations are directly aimed at providing actionable support to help accelerate implement new strategies.
Pellen concluded, “In its development, the Innovation Fitness Index has been peer-reviewed and its unique value praised by Fortune 500 Innovation leaders across industries; we are very excited by the overwhelmingly positive feedback we have received! We are now live and are in the process of deploying it at our clients!”
