Deltek appoints Dean Tilsley as chief financial officer

Deltek has selected Dean Tilsley to become its new chief financial officer. He will oversee the financial management of the company, reporting directly to CEO Mike Corkery.

Deltek is a global provider of software and solutions for project-based businesses, with more than 30,000 organisations around the world relying on the firm for support with project intelligence, management and collaboration.

Tilsley joins at a time of transformation for Deltek. After placing a renewed focus on the concept of ‘purposeful innovation’ at the start of 2023, Deltek recently completed the acquisition of Replicon to build out its information solutions wing.

In the coming time as CFO, Tilsley will oversee the financial management of the company. This includes supporting continued growth across Deltek’s portfolio of solutions and play a pivotal role in driving financial strategy, optimizing operational efficiency, and supporting the company's continued growth and success.  

Having earned his MBA from Imperial College in London and has a bachelor’s degree with honours in economics from the University of Otago in his native New Zealand, Tilsley has spent his career in senior financial planning roles on both sides of the Atlantic. A former head of financial planning and analysis with the Associated Press in London, he was most recently a CFO for analytics firm Renaissance Learning.
