BearingPoint adds Alfred Obereder to UK partner team
Alfred Obereder has been promoted to BearingPoint as a partner in its UK team. He will now lead the company’s national customer relationship management and Salesforce practice.
Getting the most from a CRM often requires external expertise, though – and that is driving demand for consulting firms specialising in services relating to top CRM providers. As more clients look for consulting services to boost their CRM use, BearingPoint has been scaling its Salesforce practice. Having already doubled its team to over 200 specialists during the last three years, the firm now aims to deliver the same level of growth by 2025.
As the firm pushes ahead with these plans, Alfred Obereder has been appointed a partner, within BearingPoint’s UK CRM, CX and Salesforce wing. The move comes as part of 17 new partner promotions across BearingPoint’s global operations.
Speaking on the news, BearingPoint Managing Partner Kiumars Hamidian said, “It is a real pleasure to promote internally 17 new Partners to our Partner-led firm. All of them have reached this important milestone based on their exceptional abilities, deep industry expertise, and outstanding commitment to serving our clients. In addition to our internally promoted Partners, I am delighted to welcome five new Partners that have joined BearingPoint from outside the firm.”
Obereder joined BearingPoint in 2021, bringing 25 years of experience to the firm, from a long career in professional services. During a number of senior roles across the sector, he has been involved in some of the most innovative and impactful digital programmes within the European financial services, consumer goods and high-tech sector.
Previously, Obereder has worked with IT and technology firms including Dell, Accenture and Cognizant – where he spent two years as head of Salesforce advisory for the UK and Central Europe. Alongside his role at BearingPoint – where he has led its customer and growth practice – he has also been a member of the partner advisory board for insurance with Salesforce itself. Looking ahead, he will use this experience to strengthen BearingPoint’s position as a leading consulting player within the UK’s technology and CRM space.
Commenting on LinkedIn, Obereder said of his promotion, “Really proud to announce my appointment as new partner for BearingPoint in the UK. It’s been quite the journey since I joined the firm in 2021 to build the UK’s most exciting Salesforce practice and I can genuinely say that I’ve enjoyed every single day.”
