Marketing and research consultancy Incite regroups its offerings
Research consultancy Incite has refreshed its portfolio of services, clustering its offerings into three main services: Strategy, Research and Planning.
Founded in 2000, Incite is a strategic consultancy, working to provide human-centric solutions to clients including Shell, O2 and Gousto. The consultancy has expertise across consumer, technology, financial, healthcare, retail, food and beverage, and leisure sectors. From global offices in London, New York, San Francisco and Chicago, the firm’s experts provide insights about people, brands and businesses using qualitative and quantitative methods.
Now, as the consultancy looks to unify its company into a cohesive single brand, it has announced a restructuring to regroup its offerings into three key practices of Strategy, Research and Planning. The project has been spearheaded by Incite’s Global Managing Director Peter Kneale – who took on the wider group role in February 2021, with a remit to develop a future-fit plan for the consultancy.
Commenting on the changes, Kneale said, “Setting up three core practices under the Incite banner makes good business sense – we’ve created centres of excellence that play into our proven expertise. Each practice brings a focus and awareness of the different pain points of its specific clients, but each can also call on the expertise of the other practices when our briefs demand it.
Kneale is working alongside US managing director Kevin Waters to bring the three practices to market for clients in North America. United by the company’s key ethos of “Think People First,” each practice will focus on the firm’s mission to deliver impact to its clients.
Three practices
Incite Strategy will work with business leaders and investors to supply a holistic view of a client’s business and its market, to assess the organisation’s commercial health and eek out future opportunities. The practice will be headed up by Director Helene Mills, to focus on its core strength of helping business leaders and investors make informed steers on investments and future direction. It has already helped clients like Burger King and PureGym to hone their offerings and build for long-term growth.
Incite Research is meanwhile driven by Director Stefan Schafer. The wing supports marketing, innovation, portfolio and strategy leaders with informed strategy and pragmatic implementation plans, and has supported a number of brands including McDonalds, Novartis, and Kraft-Heinz – where it used agile collaboration with qualitative and quantitative research to expose innovation potential for one of the world’s biggest food brands.
Incite Planning comes under the remit of Incite Deputy Managing Director Pranay Jeyachandran. Its role is to support marketing, innovation, portfolio and strategy leaders with informed strategy and pragmatic implementation plans. One of the cases Incite notes the Planning wing has completed came from Hall & Woodhouse, with the consultants helping to restore the 240-year-old Badger brewery brand to its former glory – delivering robust, three-year business and brand strategies in just six weeks.
Incite is part of the Kin + Carta Collective. The global consulting and digital transformation business itself underwent a major organisational restructuring in 2020, when Kin + Carta announced it had rebranded its assets into three distinct entities; Kin + Carta Create, Kin + Carta Connect and Kin + Carta Advise.
