New professional services firm SLJ launches in Warwickshire

West Midlands based tax expert Simon Littlejohns has announced the launch of a new professional services firm in Stratford upon Avon. SLJ Accountants will provide high level tax advisory, compliance and planning services to clients across England.

Over the last 30 years of his career, Simon Littlejohns has garnered experience working in a range of professional services firms, from the Big Four national and international accountancy and business advisors, to local independent and boutique tax practices. In the latest chapter of his working life, Littlejohns has decided to strike out on his own, with the launch of a boutique firm.

Speaking on the founding of SLJ Accountancy, Littlejohns stated, “We are focused on taking a highly practical and hands-on approach to delivering relevant and timely accounting and tax advice to our clients, to help mitigate and defer tax liabilities… Our holistic approach ensures matters across the board are considered, whether these are commercial, accounting, financial, tax or practical concerns.”

British businesses are facing many challenges as the year draws to a close, with Covid-19 and Brexit still at the top of the list. Despite this, many small and mid-sized enterprises find themselves struggling to access support from top-tier professional services firms – something which is essential to their survival and growth in the coming year.

Based on West Street in Stratford upon Avon, Warwickshire, Littlejohns provides high level tax advisory, compliance and planning services to SLJ’s clients, including companies, individuals and other professional practices. He also looks after statutory accounts preparation for companies that do not require a formal audit, while the firm can manage the creation and operation of employee share schemes and incentives, share valuations, and corporate reorganisations.
