BearingPoint adds 19 new Partners to European leadership

BearingPoint, an international management and technology consultancy, has announced 19 new Partner promotions in Europe. Three Partners have been brought in from outside players, while 16 Partners have been promoted internally, exemplifying according to the firm’s CEO how BearingPoint is committed to growing the firm from within.

The three Partners that have joined externally are John Lockton in the UK, following the acquisition of LCP Consulting in March this year, and Giancarlo Barbeni and Massimiliano Monfreda in Italy. Barbeni joined from rival KPMG, while Monfreda, a former advisor of Bain & Company and IBM BCS, joined from IT services company DXC Technology, where he served as CEO of the Italian arm.

Commenting on the internal promotions, he said, “Each of our internally promoted Partners has a strong track record in delivering projects to our clients and has displayed strong capabilities in team building and collaboration to create client value. All have demonstrated commitment to excellence in service delivery and are effective role models representing our values.” 

With the latest batch of leaders, Mockler added that it provides the firm with more foothold to realise its ambitious growth strategy of achieving a revenue of €1 billion by 2020. The international consulting firm faces a challenging revenue aim in the coming four years – last year the consultancy saw its revenues grow 10% to €622 million, with Mockler however recently stating that he is confident the firm has what it takes to deliver on the target.
