Roland Berger launches restructuring corporate finance
Roland Berger Strategy Consultants has launched a new global center of excellence: 'Restructuring & Corporate Finance'. The new entity, that combines the expertise of the existing CoE's 'Corporate Performance' and 'Corporate Finance', will be led from Germany.
"Restructuring companies and bringing them back to a successful track has always been one of our core competencies" says Burkhard Schwenker, CEO of Roland Berger Strategy Consultants. "However, over the past few years customer needs have become more complex, requiring more integration between various fields. Projects therefore increasingly require connection between traditional strategy consulting with corporate finance, M&A and Private Equity. Our new competence center responds to this need".
The 'Restructuring & Corporate Finance' center of excellence will be led from Germany, where it has approximately 15 partners and 100 consultants. Leader of the team is Sasha Haghani*, who together with Burkhard Schwenker and Stefan Schaible co-leads Roland Berger's German business.
* Sasha Haghani (46) has circa 20 years of consulting experience in strategy, restructuring and corporate finance. He joined Roland Berger in 1995, in 2000 he was appointed as a partner and as the head of the Corporate Finance center of excellence.
