Unit4 welcomes Christoffer Crona and Ian Owen to boost public sector and industry wings
As more public sector bodies around the world turn to Unit4 to address their transformation goals, the company has strengthened its leadership team with two senior hires. Christoffer Crona will lead the global public sector sales team, while Ian Owen also arrives as global industry director.

Unit4 is working to build out its public sector proposition, mostly recently announcing Unit4 Data Hub and Unit4 FIX, which will help public sector organisations to turn data into action. Data Hub is a managed, high-volume extraction layer built into Unit4 ERPx, which eliminates the complexity of extracting data and managing connections between analytics tools and core ERP systems. Unit4 FIX gives finance teams and budget holders a single, governed view of operational financial actuals which is consistent, traceable, and always current.
The firm is also expanding partner ecosystem around the world to ensure its customers have implementation partners with the right local and technology expertise. In the UK, the company has deepened its relationship with Embridge Consulting appointing it exclusive UK Public Sector reseller. Elsewhere, Unit4 has developed strong relationships with Agilyx in the United States and Canada.
Crona brings a wealth of experience delivering SaaS-based and helping customers to extract the most value from their cloud-based applications.
Meanwhile, Ian Owen also joins as global industry director, bringing a wealth of experience as a fellow and council member of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA). Owen’s role will be to help public sector bodies build robust transformation plans to enable them to maximise their investments in next generation SaaS applications.
