Leonard Curtis promotes four members to director

Leonard Curtis has made 35 promotions across seven offices nationwide, including four members that have made the step up to director.

Phil Morton has worked in the corporate restructuring sector since 2010, assisting directors, lenders, shareholders and other stakeholders through challenging times by finding the right solution for all parties.

He has experience across a wide range of sectors, from manufacturing, distribution and construction through to not-for-profit, with turnovers from under £1 million to in excess of £140 million. This includes assisting in raising an accelerated private equity investment for a market-leading distributor of educational supplies, and in contingency planning for a regional haulier, resulting in the implementation of a company voluntary arrangement and the continuation of the business.

Dan Ormerod has over 12 years of experience in restructuring and advisory, having joined Leonard Curtis in 2012. Based in the Whitefield office, he has deep expertise in Creditors Voluntary Liquidations, Members Voluntary Liquidations and Company Voluntary Arrangements, contributing to a well-rounded understanding of corporate insolvency.

Sherrelle Scott is a Director within the Corporate and Commercial team. She provides general day to day corporate and commercial advice to a wide range of companies and individuals and has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, management buy-outs, reorganisations and private equity transactions (acting both for investors and management).

She is a specialist in the healthcare sector (including regulatory matters) and has extensive experience across the retail, education, e-commerce, manufacturing, property and technology industries.

Andrew Pitts is a Director within the Restructuring and Insolvency practice, with over 21 years at the firm. Based in the North West, he has progressed through a range of roles from Insolvency Administrator to Director. His focus is across the firm’s centralised liquidations and closures team and he also has responsibility in developing the firm’s entry level career pathways and supporting apprenticeships.
