Project One’s Transformation Talks podcast highlights creating change-friendly culture
Boutique consultancy Project One has launched a new episode of its inhouse podcast. Entitled ‘Creating a motivated culture for change’, it focuses on the cultural factors needed to ensure transformation programmes succeed.
The episode sees guest Rebecca Henderson-Hart, a change consultant at Project One, delve into the question: ‘How do you build a culture where people don’t just cope with change, but thrive in it?’
Speaking with Project One Director of Marketing and Proposition Hayley Saich, Henderson-Hart discusses how leaders can create motivated, resilient teams and make change part of everyday work. At the heart of it all, is understanding the human energy and emotion behind any project.
At the top of the show, she explains, “Even if you’re doing a big tech delivery, or you might be building a factory, it’s going to live and die on how well the team achieve their goal… I think a motivated environment is not something that feels frantic or forced or overwhelmed, but purposeful. If people come in knowing why they’re going to do something, and they feel part of a team, with a mission that actually matters, they’re more motivated to get stuck in to the work and achieve a collective goal.”
From building resilience and reinforcing positive behaviours, to creating environments where people feel valued and energised, the episode continues in this vein, and is packed with insights for anyone leading change programmes.
To listen in full, the episode is available on Spotify, Apple and Amazon Music.
