Canada Life taps Tata Consultancy Services for UK and Europe tech transformation
Tata Consultancy Services has signed a multiyear transformation and managed services agreement with Canada Life. The IT services firm will support the global life and pensions insurer with modernising its core technology infrastructure.
The Canada Life Assurance Company, commonly known as Canada Life, is a Canadian insurance and financial services company with its headquarters in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
As part of the agreement, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) will support Canada Life with the modernisation of its technology backbone in the UK and Europe. Key domains include data centres, core infrastructure, end-user computing, and software lifecycle management.

According to Dibbs, the programme aims to deliver high-quality, cost-effective, performance driven IT services while helping Canada Life accelerate its technology strategy and achieve stronger business outcomes. Key benefits anticipated in the programme’s business case include enhanced operational resilience, further automation of business processes, and an improved user experience for customers.
