Andrew Livingstone and Harris Waseem named managing directors at KR8 Advisory
Fast-growing business advisory firm KR8 has expanded its London-based team with the appointment of two managing directors. Andrew Livingstone and Harris Waseem enhance the firm’s restructuring and advisory capabilities.
Launched with the backing of K3 Advisory Group in 2025, KR8 Advisory was founded by eight managing directors, spread across offices in Manchester, Leeds and London. Sitting in K3 Advisory Group’s Restructuring Advisory division – one of five divisions, which also comprise Business Sales & Deal Advisory, Business Services (including specialist tax), Technology Solutions and Wealth Management – the firm began life hoping to take advantage of a financial landscape in which KR8 Advisory saw “an opportunity to offer innovative solutions where clients need them most.”
In the year since, the firm has grown quickly. According to a release from the consultancy, these two appointments reflect “KR8’s continued investment in senior talent as it expands its restructuring and turnaround offering, ensuring clients benefit from deep expertise and coordinated support across its restructuring, real estate and advisory teams” as it responds to heightened demand.
Andrew Livingstone is a licensed insolvency practitioner, bringing 20 years of experience in financial restructuring, contingency planning and operational wind-downs, including cross-border and multi-stakeholder situations. He has advised across a range of sectors, with particular expertise in retail, leisure and hospitality, as well as financial services.
“I’m delighted to be joining KR8 at an exciting stage in its growth,” Livingstone said of his appointment. “The firm’s collaborative approach and strong reputation provide a great platform to support clients through increasingly complex and challenging situations.”
Harris Waseem brings another two decades of knowhow on board meanwhile. A chartered accountant and restructuring specialist, he boasts expertise across both solvent and distressed situations, alongside significant international and banking expertise. He spent 15 years at a Big Four firm before moving into senior leadership roles within UK mid-tier practices.
“I’m excited to be joining KR8 during a period of rapid growth and at a time when businesses are facing ever-increasing financial and operational challenges,” added Waseem. “As a firm, KR8 has already developed a strong reputation in the market for delivering pragmatic, results-driven advice, and I look forward to working with both new and existing clients to help them navigate the various challenges they may be facing, helping them to achieve sustainable outcomes.”
