UK headquartered Oxbow Partners launches in New York
London-based insurance consultancy Oxbow Partners has launched its first presence in the US. The New York office becomes the firm’s second global locale, and sees it host staff in both of the world’s leading financial hubs.
Oxbow Partners is a specialist management consultancy for the insurance industry, with clients including leadership teams at the world’s leading insurers, reinsurers, brokers and private equity firms. It typically serves engagements spanning strategy, operations, technology, transformation and M&A. Alongside this, the firm’s market intelligence team offers unique analysis into the UK market and global reinsurance.
Founded in 2015, the London-headquartered firm recently celebrated its 10th anniversary. And as it looks to build on the momentum of its first decade in business, Oxbow Partners has announced the roll out of a new presence in North America.
Alongside London, New York is one of the world’s premiere financial services hubs – which is why Oxbow has officially set up shop in the US metropolis. Tapping into the connections and reputation of The Big Apple, Oxbow’s office will now serve corporate clients across North America, leveraging the team’s deep expertise in strategy development and experience delivering strategic transformations.

New opportunities
According to a release from the firm, investors and corporate development executives will “benefit from Oxbow Partners’ capabilities with commercial due diligence and post-acquisition strategy development and integration”. Meanwhile, all clients will be able to access the Oxbow Partners Agile Strategy methodology, which “combines deep market insight with a pragmatic and integrated approach to strategy development, operating model and technology transformation”.
As part of the expansion, Manmeet Singh Bawa has joined Oxbow Partners as a partner, and will lead the firm’s new US business. He brings over a decade of global consulting experience advising P&C insurers on growth strategies, business model innovation and transformation, and data-driven performance improvement.

Additionally, Mark Purowitz has joined as senior advisor, also based in New York City. He has several decades of US and global financial services experience across strategic growth and M&A.

New York is proving increasingly attractive to management consultancies from the UK, as the market continues to perform strongly in comparison to Europe. Earlier in 2025, CIL Strategy Consultants also announced it would be heading to the city, as it sought to forge closer ties with its American clients.
