Nick Edwards joins Interpath to expand value creation
Nicholas Edwards has joined Interpath as a managing director in value creation. He brings more than 15 years of experience in consulting and cash-optimisation strategies.
Nathan McCarthy, global head of value creation, noted, “We’re incredibly pleased to welcome Nick to Interpath. His deep expertise in liquidity and working capital, hands-on approach and experience supporting private equity clients through the deal cycle, will be invaluable as we continue to help businesses unlock value and deliver sustainable growth here in the UK and throughout our international network.”
The move comes shortly after H.I.G. Capital would be exiting Interpath. The deal reportedly worth more than £800 million will see investors from Bridgepoint take on a majority stake in operations, as Interpath looks to continue its current growth track. Its expanding advisory and consulting portfolio helped the firm it to hit a £3 million pre-tax profit in 2024, for example.
To build on that momentum, one area Interpath is reinforcing is its value creation team. As companies respond to an uncertain global landscape, it is crucial that they build resilience into their balance sheets – and to help deliver that, Interpath is working to scale and attract talent in the value creation market.
Edwards brings more than 15 years of experience to the role, having commenced his career with KPMG, before spending the last 11 years with EY Parthenon. There, he supported private equity clients across the investment cycle.
Edwards added, “By unlocking trapped liquidity and optimising cash cycles, management teams can achieve the agility they need to navigate volatility and drive sustainable value creation to support growth. I look forward to leveraging Interpath’s multidisciplinary platform to provide practical and first-hand support to our clients.”
