Deloitte to relocate its Midlands operation to Paradise Birmingham

Deloitte has become the latest major consultancy to announce a planned move to Birmingham’s Paradise complex. The firm’s new home at One Centenary Way will see it relocate more than 1,000 staff in the Midlands later in 2026.

Juliet Halfhead, practice senior partner at Deloitte Midlands, commented, “This move reinforces our commitment to growth in the region. One Centenary Way will become an integral part of our offering in the Midlands to our clients, partners and visitors, and will be the perfect environment for our people to grow and develop their skills and careers with us.”

Deloitte is not alone in heading to Paradise, with international accounting and advisory firm Forvis Mazars having taken a lease in a state-of-the-art space at Two Chamberlain Square, in the heart of the Birmingham development. Engineering consultancy Arup revamped its Birmingham presence at the locale. And Big Four rivals EY and PwC have also moved thousands of staff into new offices at One Chamberlain Square over the last six years.

The Midlands is home to one of Deloitte’s largest UK practices outside of London. Currently based at 4 Brindleyplace, Deloitte employs more than 1,000 people in the region – with this latest relocation following Deloitte office moves across the UK over the past two years, including in Aberdeen, Belfast, Bristol and Manchester.

Halfhead added, “Birmingham continues to transform, and we’re looking forward to moving into a modern, sophisticated and environmentally conscious building that encapsulates that feeling of progress. As a firm, we’re involved with some of the most exciting and ambitious projects in the region, particularly in real estate, and our new space will be a fantastic base from which to continue that work.”

Deloitte will take up occupation of the seventh and eighth floors in One Centenary Way, and expects to move into its new position in the city in the autumn of 2026. According to a release from the firm, the new space aligns with Deloitte’s World Climate ambitions, as one of the city’s most sustainable buildings, with a pure electric heating and hot water supply system and SMART access to services, information and facilities throughout its floorplates.

Ross Fittall, commercial development director at Paradise developer and asset-manager, MEPC, the specialist development arm of Federated Hermes, said, “Welcoming Deloitte to Paradise is a testament to the estate being recognised as the city’s premier business destination and a fitting way to bring One Centenary Way to full capacity.  We are very proud that Deloitte has chosen Paradise as its new home for its next chapter in the city and region. Deloitte’s new space will offer a highly sustainable, low-carbon approach for its people and clients, with superb business facilities as well as offering some of the city’s best connectivity, retail and leisure amenities right on the doorstep.”
