Leaseco 23 selects Interpath for administration

A firm that owns dozens of commercial units in Leeds has gone into administration. Rick Harrison and Steve Absolom from Interpath were appointed joint administrators of Leaseco 23, formerly Leeds Dock Limited, in mid-December 2025.

Formerly known as Leeds Dock Limited, Leaseco 23 owns the leasehold interests in 24 ground-floor commercial units at Leeds Dock, the city’s tech, media and creative hub. It also reportedly has an economic interest in two buildings there, Livingstone House and Stanley House.

Rick Harrison, managing director at Interpath and joint administrator, remarked, “Leeds Dock has grown to become one of Leeds’ most vibrant leisure, commercial and residential districts, and in particular, as a hub for companies in the media, technology and the creative industries.”

Over the coming weeks and months, the Interpath experts will work with appointed property managers, as well as other key stakeholders, to ensure continuity in the operation and management of the numerous commercial units. Meanwhile, they will also assess options to bring the asset to market.

Harrison added, “We are aware that the freehold for Zones 2 and 3 at Leeds Dock site is also currently being marketed for sale separately, and as such, there may be an opportunity for potential investors to acquire both the freehold and leasehold interests on the site.” 

No information has been provided as to why it went into administration – however, the news comes after the company filed accounts in September covering 2024, which suggested concerns about its finances. As reported by The Yorkshire Post, according to the accounts, the company’s investment property had been revalued at £20.7 million in November, representing a marked decrease from a previous £30.4 million a year earlier.
