Oliver Wyman’s Deborah O’Neill named among most influential women in tech
Computer Weekly has revealed its 2025 list of the 50 most influential women in UK technology. Among those on the list, the highest ranked consultant was Oliver Wyman’s Deborah O’Neill.
Created in 2012 to make women in the UK’s technology sector more visible and accessible, Computer Weekly’s 50 most influential women in UK technology list now receives hundreds of nominations each year. This year’s longlist features more than 770 women, who were whittled down by a team of expert judges.
Oliver Wyman Partner Deborah O’Neill has been recognised in the list’s top five this year. According to a release from Oliver Wyman, the recognition reflects “Deborah’s leadership and influence across the UK technology community, as well as her ongoing commitment to creating a more inclusive and forward-looking industry.”
O’Neill was also appointed head of technology innovation for the UK, Ireland and the Nordics at Oliver Wyman in early 2025. She is also head of performance transformation for the UK, Ireland and the Nordics at the firm, and before that was head of digital for Europe, where she led digital transformation and new proposition launches at companies all over the world.
She is a committed advocate for gender equality who seeks to create mentoring and sponsorship opportunities for future female technologists both within Oliver Wyman and the industries she operates. And her work as a female leader has also been recognised by numerous other accolades.
Commenting on the Oliver Wyman website, O’Neill said of her work, “Being a leader means many different things to many different people, but for me I see it as helping other people be the best they can be.”
