Reward and performance consultancy 3XO joins LACE Partners
HR, workforce and payroll transformation specialist LACE Partners has announced the acquisition of advisory firm 3XO. The firm will be incorporated into LACE to bolster its people strategy design and delivery services.
Founded in 2021, 3XO (Optimal Organisational Outcomes) is an advisory firm, dedicated to supporting boards and executive teams to design and deliver their people strategies. Headquartered in London, the firm offers services across three pillars: board advisory; projects – such as HR policy review; and case work – including hiring and investigations work.
3XO founding partner Julie Elder said, “We’re thrilled to be joining LACE Partners at such an exciting time. The partnership brings together two teams with shared values and complementary strengths, enabling us to deliver even greater impact for our clients and their leaders.”
For 3XO, the “collaborative culture and ambition” of LACE “aligns closely” with the firm’s leaders. Looking ahead, they hope the combined entity can “deepen our work with boards and executive teams at a pivotal time for the people agenda.”
The move also aims to strengthen LACE’s position in advising board-level and executive people strategy – providing additional capability to the C-Suite and chief people officers at a time in which the HR function is increasingly front and centre of business-wide transformation programmes. The deal will see 3XO retire its own brand, as it is incorporated into LACE services at of the start of November 2025.
Speaking on the announcement, LACE CEO Cathy Acratopulo added, “we have long been committed to increasing value to Chief People Officers (CPOs) and their teams in the nearly 11 years in which we have been in business and we see this acquisition of a well-respected advisory business as a natural complement to our existing services. 3XO will bring their in-depth knowledge of delivering practical advice across reward and performance management, operating model and restructuring, leadership assessment and development, HR strategy and transformation.”
