Interpath Advisory names trio of new managing directors
International consultancy Interpath Advisory has appointed three new managing directors. In Ireland John Doddy was hired, alongside Rob Connold and Neil McBride in the UK, as the firm looks to expand its deals practice.
Mark Raddan, CEO of Interpath, said, “I’m thrilled to welcome our new managing directors to Interpath. Their arrival is testament to the strength of our vision, the momentum behind our Deals practice, and the critical role it has in the development of Interpath. We’re attracting top-tier talent who share our ambition to build a world-class advisory team. This is another important step in that journey.”
John Doddy joins Interpath as head of advisory in Ireland. He brings more than 20 years of experience at the forefront of European financial services, and was most recently head of debt and capital advisory at Deloitte in Ireland. There, he advised corporates from across the mid and large-cap market on raising traditional and alternative sources of debt finance. He arrives alongside recent hire Kirstie O’Flanagan, who also joined from Deloitte as head of transaction services.
Robert Connold is another Big Four capture for Interpath, arriving from Deloitte in the UK. He was also a partner in the debt and capital advisory team, leading the firm’s support for privately-owned businesses, including corporates, founder and family-owned businesses and private equity portfolio companies. In his new role, Connold will be part of Interpath’s debt and capital advisory team working with clients to secure debt facilities to support M&A, refinancing, growth, recapitalisation, and special situations.
Neil McBride finally joins Interpath’s London office from PwC. After more than 25 years in management and private equity consulting and nine years in industry, he will now help to build-out of Interpath’s integration and separation offering in the deals business. Particularly, he will develop Interpath’s operational due diligence proposition.
Neil Siri, global head of deals and private capital at Interpath, added, “We’re building something incredibly special here at Interpath – a deals proposition that really challenges the status quo and redefines what clients should expect from their advisors. These appointments reflect our commitment to bring together the best talent from across the world’s leading financial centres. With deep experience spanning M&A, debt advisory, transaction services, integration & separation, we’re creating a truly integrated team that can deliver outstanding outcomes for our clients, wherever they are.”
The UK team has also made a number of senior promotions including Rob Allard in value creation and Tom Rawlinson in transaction services who have both been promoted to managing director. This followed the news earlier in the year that Interpath had announced its largest ever round of promotions across the firm, with Sam Birchall, Natasha Harbinson, and Gareth Slater also being promoted to the leadership team of the UK-headquartered advisory firm.
