Toni Marshall and Tanguy Pellen to lead Skarbek into next growth phase
Skarbek has completed a transition of its top leadership, with Founder and CEO Paul Heugh handing his over his executive responsibilities to Toni Marshall and Tanguy Pellen, who have been appointed as co-Managing Partners.
Founded in 2012 by Paul Heugh, Skarbekhas under his leadership grown into an award-winning consulting firm with over 50 consultants and associates. Specialising in strategy execution, Skarbek helps UK and international organisations across consumer goods, consumer health, pharma, cosmetics, and luxury with the implementation of strategic plans and change programs.
The transition at the top is part of the firm’s evolution from a founder-led to partner-led business, a move designed to help scale the business while maintaining its values and culture.
“Since founding the business 13 years ago it has been my enormous privilege to work with our terrific team delivering services to our clients and seeing Skarbek grow into an international brand with global reach and impact. I am now delighted to hand over the baton of leadership to two incredibly talented, committed, and proven business leaders who exemplify the ethos of Skarbek,” said Heugh, who will remain on the company’s board.
Commenting on the leadership transition, which kicked off several months ago, Skarbek Chairman Ian Pontefract said, “Paul has led the business since its founding and built a formidable reputation in strategy execution. Having worked with Toni, Tanguy, and Paul during the transition preparation, I look forward to implementing our plans to grow the company further.”
Next growth phase
Under the leadership of Toni Marshall and Tanguy Pellen, who have been with the firm since 2024 and 2020 respectively, Skarbek aims to embark on its next chapter of growth. Key objectives include growing the business, expanding its impact in its core sectors, and expanding its portfolio with new capabilities/sectors.

Toni Marshall and Tanguy Pellen
Toni Marshall joined Skarbek in 2024 from Reckitt, where she held senior global strategic and operational roles across consumer health and fast-moving consumer goods. She is recognised for driving growth, orchestrating transformation, and developing high performance teams. Marshall began her career in the M&A team of EY.
Tanguy Pellen has been with Skarbek for over five years following an over 20-year career at Procter & Gamble and Coty as a senior R&D leader. He brings deep knowledge of the fast-moving consumer goods sector, expertise in beauty care, and leadership experience in developed and developing markets, including 10 years in Asia with 7 years in China. He advises companies across industries on strategy implementation, innovation and large-scale transformations.
