Brighter Consultancy and NTT DATA announce new partnership

Brighter Consultancy and digital business and technology services firm NTT DATA have announced a new partnership. The combined efforts of the companies will promise UK insurance companies, banks, and payment firms access to a new range of comprehensive anti-financial crime services.
Dean Manning, CEO of Brighter, said, “This is an exciting opportunity to provide clients with a comprehensive set of solutions: NTT DATA are a great fit for Brighter, and we look forward to providing our combined clients with outstanding positive outcomes. Backed up by NTT DATA’s vast reserves of technologies and skills – which range from Cloud to GenAI, from automation to business process outsourcing – Brighter Consultancy’s subject matter experts now have the tools to meet every client’s needs, no matter how great or complex.”
Professional services firm Bringing Consultancy’s specialist expertise in financial crime will combine with NTT DATA’s wide-ranging digital capabilities, the partnership will provide an end-to-end financial crime offering to the market. From expert advice and consultancy, to the provision of new services such as sanction screening, transaction monitoring, governance upgrades, remediation, compliance reviews and outsourced services.
The partnership promises to help specialty insurance companies (including speciality insurance companies), banks and payment firms address fast-growing compliance risks: about 100 new sanctions are issued globally every month, while the Financial Conduct Authority is increasingly active in the field – expanding its team charged with scrutinising specialty insurance providers’ anti-financial crime processes. Such providers must undertake a broad set of checks on clients, covering matters such as beneficial ownership and sanctions compliance, and any weaknesses present major financial and regulatory risks.
David Brooks, Head of Insurance at NTT DATA, commented, “NTT DATA is delighted to partner with such an innovative and forward-thinking consultancy; we know that working with Brighter enhances the experience for our clients. This comes at an exciting time, and provides a broader and deeper offering for our clients across our banking and insurance customer landscapes.”
Simon Davis, Chairman of Brighter, added, “We have already been working together for the last two years, so this partnership agreement with NTT DATA represents the next stage of our evolution of providing clients with best-in-class solutions for all of their past, current and future anti-financial crime needs.”
