Brighter Consultancy expands into Irish market with Dublin office
In its fifth year of business, Brighter Consultancy has announced its international expansion. The firm has grown into the Irish market.
Founded in 2017, UK-headquartered Brighter Consultancy is a cross-industry professional services firm, offering change and technology advisory work to clients around the world. As the company celebrates its fifth year in business, Brighter has announced its expansion into Ireland.
The firm’s new office in Dublin will enhancing the firm’s current risk, actuarial, financial and technology service offerings, helping expand the firm’s international reach. As well as providing solutions to new customers, this also offers up fresh opportunities to existing customers, too.
Brighter Group CEO Dean Manning commented, “With Brighter’s ever expanding range of strategic services we are excited to open our Dublin office. We’ve thrived in the dynamic UK business landscape over the past five years and our new Dublin office marks a significant milestone in our journey. This allows us to reach and collaborate with businesses in a vibrant and growing market.”
In the lead up to and fallout from Brexit, many consulting firms have been opening up new offices in Ireland – seen as a way of maintaining connections with mainland Europe and the EU. Many firms have also been lured to the country by its capital’s growing reputation as a hub for technology and finance – seeing a glut of consultancies like Slalom, Moore Kingston Smith and Gate One arrive in recent years.
According to a release from Brighter, its own arrival in Dublin is “a strategic step that has been planned and worked on for the past few years”. Having taken a “measured approach” during which the firm performed in-depth due diligence, Brighter eventually ensured that “Dublin is a perfect match for Brighter in how we approach supporting clients”.
Manning added, “We look forwards to welcoming our new Brighter Ireland colleagues into the business and will continue to build a team of industry leaders and experts. This hivemind of knowledge will continue to support our widening client base in delivering better business outcomes and great collaborations for the future.”
Amid Ireland’s thriving technology and financial markets, Brighter’s previous work for clients suggests it will fit in easily with its new surroundings. Among the recent case studies cited on its website are the submission of a proposal under NDA to support a Big Four consultancy in the delivery of an IT risk and control self-assessment; an engagement by a multinational insurer to deliver consultancy support to a large scale identity access management programme; and helping one of the largest payment providers in the UK, after the Financial Conduct Authority suspended the company for weaknesses related to the its anti-money laundering process.
