Barnett Waddingham opens 10th UK office in Manchester

Barnett Waddingham has opened its 10th British office. Based in the heart of Manchester, the hub comes as the firm continues its ambitious trajectory of growth in the North West of England.  

Barnett Waddingham has around 150 qualified actuaries, appointed to over 330 pension schemes. The firm provides the full range of actuarial services to trustees of defined benefit (DB) pension schemes, ranging from strategic to operational, with fund sizes ranging from £1 million to over £5 billion.

In 2024, the firm moved into a new office in Leeds, amid growing demand there. Now, as the firm’s northern offering goes from strength to strength, it has launched a new locale in Manchester.

The professional services firm’s new base at Arkwright House, Parsonage Gardens, launches with a core team of professionals from the fields of Defined Contribution Consulting, Actuarial Consulting, Pensions Risk Transfer, Board Management Services, Risk Management and Employer Consulting. 

The space will provide a central location to support its regional clients as well as expand its nationwide footprint. The Manchester office adds to its other nine established sites across the UK, including those in Liverpool and Leeds, allowing Barnett Waddingham to provide tailored advice and practical solutions across pensions, employee benefits, risk and investment to meet the unique needs of clients and partners.
