Interpath acquires Kerkhoff amid European expansion

Consulting and restructuring firm Interpath Advisory has announced the purchase of Kerkhoff for an undisclosed fee. The move will help the UK-headquartered firm expand across the DACH region.
Interpath Group CEO Mark Raddan commented, “We are delighted to kickstart the new year by welcoming our new colleagues from Kerkhoff to Interpath. This award-winning team is rightly considered a pioneer in its specialist field of supply chain and procurement consulting, with its innovative methodology and impressive suite of credentials.
Founded in 1995, Kerkhoff offers consulting services supporting the purchasing, procurement and supply chain management efforts of its clients. With offices in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, the firm has cultivated a leading reputation in the regional market, offering Interpath a major opportunity to both boost its existing suite of cross-border value creation services, and accelerate client acquisition in central Europe.
Raddan added, “We’re looking forward to growing and scaling the team as we work together to bring this market-leading proposition to a wider global audience as part of our new procurement and supply chain centre of excellence. Moreover, we’re excited that this acquisition sees us expand our geographic footprint into the DACH region, where we expect to make further strategic investments over the coming months.”
All 60 members of the Dusseldorf-headquartered firm will now transfer to Interpath. Across that locale, and a hub in Vienna, Kerkhoff also boasts seven senior team members, who will transfer to Interpath as managing directors – though due to Kerkhoff’s brand recognition, it will continue to go to market as ‘Kerkhoff, part of Interpath’.
Thorsten Schmidt, managing director at Kerkhoff, noted, “Today marks an exciting new chapter for everyone across Kerkhoff as we join the Interpath family. We know that this is a team which shares our core values of putting our clients at the heart of everything we do, and which is committed to building an inclusive culture where our talented people can thrive and develop fulfilling careers. We are particularly excited by the opportunity to expand our reach into new global markets, working alongside Interpath’s international value creation team.”
The expansion of Interpath’s global footprint also builds on recent developments in the summer of 2024. Interpath launched its first operations in mainland Europe then, with the opening of its office in Paris. The firm now employs almost 1,000 people across 23 locations in the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Austria, Bermuda, Cayman Islands, British Virgin Islands and Algeria.
