AtkinsRéalis celebrates chartered consulting milestone
Engineering professional services firm AtkinsRéalis has seen more than 100 of its employees gain chartered status. The firm’s success in the Chartered Management Consultant award demonstrate the organisation’s commitment to investing in its people and the consultancy profession, according to its leaders.
Jacqui Lees, AtkinsRéalis’ net zero and social value director, who has obtained the ChMC herself, said, “Clients value consultants who continually educate themselves, seek new experiences, and display curiosity. Created by the integration of long-standing organizations dating back to 1911, AtkinsRéalis is an engineering services and nuclear company. Across its global offices, 104 employees now hold full ChMC chartership, and 19 employees are Associate ChMCs, with a further 36 currently completing their accreditation journey. This places AtkinsRéalis top of the ChMC ranking for engineering consultancies.
AtkinsRéalis’ learning and development programme was one of the first to be accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), and looking ahead, it is targeting 150 chartered employees by the end of 2025.
Officially launched by the CMI and the Management Consulting Group (MCA) in April 2021, the ChMC accreditation is the UK’s first formal recognition of management consulting expertise – which has been awarded to more than 1,500 consultants so far. Created and developed with the industry, the award provides a seal of quality for consultants and their clients, enabling them to evaluate an organisation’s skills.
