Consultancy Nine Feet Tall steers St Peter’s Hospice into digital future
Specialist change management consultancy Nine Feet Tall has successfully transformed the digital operations of St Peter's Hospice. The charity provides care and support to adults who are living with a progressive life-limiting illness in the Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset area.
Esther McMorris, CEO of Nine Feet Tall, commented, “Charities like St Peter’s Hospice play an invaluable role in our communities, and by improving their systems and processes, they can focus on what they do best - providing specialist care and support to thousands of people across the region. Nine Feet Tall is committed to delivering meaningful change, so we are proud of this successful partnership and to be continuing to support the Hospice on their transformative journey.”
Founded in 1978, St Peter's Hospice is a charity caring for adults with life-limiting illnesses in Bristol and South Gloucestershire. The organisation aims to improve the quality of their living and dying while extending care and support to their families and loved ones, while its hospice services are free of charge to everyone.
Headquartered in Bath and with offices in London and Manchester, Nine Feet Tall is a specialist consultancy that manages complex change projects by harnessing the power of both people and technology. St Peter’s Hospice tapped the consultancy to help manage a digital operations transformation at its facilities, while upgrading the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
In an initiative designed to enhance donor engagement, streamline operations and position the charity for a digital future, the hospice replaced its outdated software, ensuring it can continue to enhance its mission of care. Meanwhile, following the selection of their preferred new system in January 2024, Nine Feet Tall has continued to provide ongoing project assurance. The continued partnership showcases the power of collaboration and expert consultancy in enabling charities to meet evolving needs.
Sarah Allen-Gunn, director of fundraising and communications at St Peter’s Hospice, praised Nine Feet Tall’s support, stating, " Nine Feet Tall provided an independent, expert view on our progress, ensuring we were on track to meet our objectives, and bring their experience from other similar projects to help us identify and mitigate risk. The new CRM system will revolutionise how we manage our supporter data, both from an efficiency perspective and in terms of insight and analytics. It will enable us to offer more targeted opportunities for supporters to engage with the Hospice, ultimately driving income growth and allowing us to reach more patients, families and carers when they need us most.”
