Nine Feet Tall and Talan boost AI uptake in banking
Change management consultancy Nine Feet Tall has partnered with parent group Talan to deliver an AI transformation. The project with a banking client is said to have helped more than 1,000 employees around the world.
Nine Feet Tall and its staff are currently celebrating its first year under the ownership of Talan. Since the global consulting group acquired Nine Feet Tall, the change management firm has helped to deliver transformative results for clients through its enhanced service offering.
With complementary capabilities within the two businesses and a combined ambition to drive digital transformation, the partnership combines Talan’s digital expertise with Nine Feet Tall’s change management proficiency. As they look back on a successful first year, the collaboration has recently come to fruition on an AI adoption programme for a banking client, supporting over 1,000 employees across multiple geographies.
According to a release from the firms, Talan Spain has led the capability-building stream for the client, training a group of AI Ambassadors to use no-code AI tools effectively, who will then cascade this knowledge within their teams, helping to embed practical AI skills across the organisation. Meanwhile, Nine Feet Tall’s expertise in change management is ensuring the programme takes root, delivering tailored behavioural change interventions and developing core messaging to ensure quality improvements.

Talan acquired Nine Feet Tall in September 2024, but with the firm remaining as an independent entity under the umbrella of Talan UK. Nine Feet Tall has remained an autonomous business within the brand. Headquartered in Bath with offices in London and Manchester, Nine Feet Tall specialises in delivering complex change projects, aligning the power of people and technology.
Elsewhere, Talan recently retired the brand of Gemserv, another firm which it acquired in the UK. Two years after its purchase, the news comes as Talan looks to double the size of its UK operations.
