CF receives chartered consulting accreditation for own training programme
Healthcare consultancy CF has hit a major milestone in how it develops and grows the skills of its talent, with its training and development programme now officially ChMC accredited.
Established in 2013, CF (formerly known as Carnall Farrar) is one of the UK’s leading consulting firms in the healthcare sector. The firm supports clients with topics including strategy, transactions and due diligence, transformation of NHS and health systems, research, data analytics, and partnerships.
Announced this morning, CF has received The Chartered Management Consultant (ChMC) Accreditation for its training and development programme from industry bodies CMI and the MCA.
Launched in 2021, the ChMC accreditation was developed to build levels of professional competence in the management consulting industry. The MCA (Management Consultancies Association) is the industry body for consulting firms, while the CMI (Chartered Management Institute) is an education institution for management professions (the only organisation in the UK able to award Chartered status).
As part of the accreditation, team members from across the firm’s practices can seek ChMC chartership after five years of experience, and all new graduates who join the Analyst programme are automatically enrolled. All eligible partners with CF have also achieved Chartered status.
Commenting on the milestone, Hannah Farrar, CEO and Founder of CF, said: “The Chartered Management Consultant Accreditation sheds positive light on the consulting industry. It gives recognition to the tremendous value consulting can provide to individuals, organisations and society as a whole. CF achieving accreditation for its training and development programme, along with all eligible partners becoming chartered individually is a proud moment for us.”
Farrar added that the recognition demonstrates the firm’s commitment to upholding excellence in its work. “Investing in our people and their development is a fundamental part of CF’s ethos and our dedication to providing the best possible service to our clients.”
Since its inception, more than 1,000 consultants have so far completed ChMC accreditation. A handful number of firms have received accreditation for their own programs, including CF and North Highland.
Tamzen Isacsson, Chief Executive Officer at MCA said: “Firms of all sizes are embracing the Chartered accreditation for consultancy. CF’s achievement with accreditation and now with all its partners becoming Chartered underscores their dedication to their people and high standards of consulting excellence and training and development.”
