Opus opens new office in Manchester

Opus Business Advisory Group has opened a new office in central Manchester. Frank Ofonagoro joins Opus to lead a dedicated team committed to business support, restructuring and insolvency advice.

The Opus Business Advisory Group has the largest independent practice of restructuring and insolvency specialists in the UK, with a head count of over 100 and 29 Partners, across 14 regional offices. Offering restructuring, corporate finance, forensic accounting, turnaround, investment and rescue planning services to clients across the UK, the firm has recently been growing its operations.

Having recently purchased insolvency advisory SKSI to further enhance this offering, Opus has again expanded its offering, with the launch of a new office. The hub in Central Manchester will cater to the city’s local business community, which has been facing multiple economic challenges in recent years that have impacted many business operations.

As the company works closely with its clients to “truly understand their business and provide a holistic view of their financial and operational health”, having an outlet in Manchester will help to better understand how to help clients across the North West of England.

To helm the new operation, Opus has brought in Frank Ofonagoro as a partner. Arriving with more than 20 years of experience delivering projects in restructuring, transaction services and corporate advisory, he is a current board member of the North West branch of the Turnaround Management Association and is committed to providing local businesses and funding institutions with tailored advice through his expertise.
