Opus swoops for restructuring firm SKSI
Opus Business Advisory Group has purchased SKSI and its subsidiary MLM CPS. The insolvency specialists will join the specialised Opus Restructuring of the company.
Founded in 2013, London headquartered Opus Business Advisory Group offers up restructuring, corporate finance, forensic accounting, turnaround, investment and rescue planning services to clients across the UK. The firm has over 60 staff, including more than 20 partners.
As the restructuring market looks set to pick up in 2024, Opus has completed the acquisition of the business and certain assets of SKSI. SKSI is a professional services company providing insight and advice to guide businesses through the everchanging economic environment, providing targeted strategies to resolve issues affecting businesses, individuals, and finance.
SKSI was part of the SKS Business Services Group of Companies, which provides accounting, audit and taxation services internationally. The deal also includes SKSI’s subsidiary MLM CPS, which is the restructuring and insolvency division of SKS Business Services.

As part of the sale two employees join Opus directly with a further eight indirectly, and Fred Satow, the former CEO of SKSI Limited becoming a partner of Opus Restructuring. The sale does not affect the wider business of SKS Business Services, the fast growing accountancy services business, which continues to provide accountancy, audit and assurance and tax services nationally in England and Wales through a network of local offices.
