Stax names Phil Dunne as managing director

Stax has appointed Phil Dunne as managing director of its UK and EMEA business. Looking ahead, he will work to drive strategic growth at the firm across the region.

Founded in 1994, Stax is a global strategy consulting firm with offices in Boston, Chicago, London, New York, and Colombo, Sri Lanka. The company specialises in commercial due diligence, value creation, and exit planning for private equity firms, PE-backed companies, hedge funds, and investment banks.

With over 25 years of experience spanning both industry and consulting, Phil Dunne brings a wealth of expertise with a strong focus on the industrial and automotive sectors within the private equity ecosystem. As a managing director, Dunne will lead the growth of the firm’s practice in the UK and EMEA.

Dunne joins Stax from his position as UK managing partner at Roland Berger, which he held for five years, having also headed up its UK automotive wing. Prior to this, he held senior leadership roles, including partner at EY, overseeing the EY-Parthenon strategy team, and serving as UK managing partner and leader of the private equity practice at Kearney.
