Capital Consulting International has appointed Robert Eadie as a director. Based in the UK, he will also serve as a technical expert in the firm’s engineering solutions wing.

Eadie commented, "I was in contact with members of the Capital Consulting International team who spoke highly of the firm and its ambitions. I was excited to hear the details of the firm’s objectives from Rob Coupe and Dave Webster, and I am delighted to be part of the team."

Capital Consulting International (CCi) is a global professional services firm, supplying integrated delay, quantum, and technical expert solutions to the insurance and construction industries. Headquartered in London, the consulting firm has around 200 consultants worldwide, and access to a further 1,400-person network through its parent Rimkus Consulting Group, a US-headquartered professional services firm.

Robert Eadie, Director, CCiBringing 20 years of global experience to CCi’s UK entity, Eadie has worked on complex construction projects across Asia, Australia, Europe, and the Middle East, specialising in building services engineering and commissioning. This has also seen him appointed as a technical expert on more than 30 occasions, engaging in expert witness work in international arbitration, litigation, adjudication, and mediation for disputed values over £300 million and supported projects valued in excess of £3 billion.

Most recently, Eadie was a technical director with HKA, where he spent six years in the firm’s Scottish wing. He also previously held senior roles with FES Group and Laing O’Rourke.

CCi Managing Director for Technical in the UK/EMEA, Rob Coupe, added, "Rab's addition to the CCi team aligns with the company's global strategy to grow its integrated service offering. With Rab’s extensive track record in expert witness work, and diverse experience working in the construction industry across multiple jurisdictions, he will play a pivotal role in advancing CCi’s position as a leader in the field".

Eadie will work closely with Coupe, and the technical team, to strengthen and grow CCi’s technical expert services offering across the UK and EMEA regions. The appointment comes as the firm looks to expand its offerings around the world.

Earlier in January, CCi appointed Yukishige Mori in its Japan outpost, beefing up the firm’s APAC leadership team, which oversees its offices in Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and Singapore. Meanwhile, 2023 saw CCi launch a new offering in Saudi Arabia, as the GCC’s regional transformations drive demand for engineering consulting there.
