Eman Elnakly joins CCi as director in Delay practice
Professional services firm CCi has installed Eman Elnakly as a director in its Delay practice. She brings extensive experience in forensic analysis of disruption and delays, and will help build the practice globally.
Delay claims typically centre on damages incurred by additional costs resulting from delayed contract delivery. For example, these may include additional labour costs.
Capital Consulting International (CCi) is an international consulting company serving clients globally with forensic, project advisory and specialty quantum and technical consulting services.
Joining the core Delay practice as a director, Elnakly brings 23 years of dispute resolution and claims management experience, working across the engineering and construction sectors in the UK and Europe, West Asia, Africa, and Canada. Her expertise lies in forensic delay analysis, disruption, and strategic planning and management.
CCi Managing Director of Delay for EMEA, Chris McCormick said, “Eman is a perfect addition to our growing team of world-leading delay experts, and I am delighted to welcome her to CCi for the next exciting chapter of her career journey. I look forward to working with Eman as we develop CCi's integrated service offering.”
Elnakly’s background also encompasses the civil and infrastructure, energy, oil and gas, marine, defence, and building sectors, working across both public and private sectors. This has seen her regularly appointed as an expert witness on matters of construction delay, disruption, and inefficiency, including providing testimony in proceedings, with project values of up to US$1.8 billion. Looking ahead, she will work with CCi’s expert team to grow its delay expert services across the EMEA region.
Speaking on her new challenge, Elnakly added, “I am delighted to join CCi, whose growth in recent years has been very impressive. I look forward to contributing to the further development of our expert testimony services globally, and continuing to strengthen our comprehensive expertise in resolving delay-related disputes.”
Headquartered in London, the consulting firm has around 200 consultants worldwide, and access to a further 1,300-person network through its parent Rimkus Consulting Group, a US-headquartered professional services firm.
